This is a true "hole in the wall." It will not win the best burger - but it is dirt cheap! Our total price for both us of was $9.45! But when the best thing on the menu is not the burger (in fact it is a 4 pound stuffed potato - which is nice) it meets expectations. This place caters to the hard working, blue-collar patron and is more packed for breakfast then lunch.

We used to frequent this place years ago and at the time, it was the best burger in town. Then it was a double patty piled high. But, its a different story now.

Burger has good flavor. Served basket style. Buns are not toasted and portion was just shy of 1/3rd pound. (not sure why it was shy, but it was.) Basic cheeseburger comes with onion, pickle, lettuce, tomato and mustard. Options for mushrooms, bacon and jalapenos. Liked the sesame seed bun. We are big fans of something happening on our bun - either seeds or toasted. This one is not toasted, I think we said that! Plus, when a bun looks like it just came out of the Mrs Baird's bag, it takes some of the "zing" out of the experience. You probably got the same impression when you looked at the picture on the right. There should be a a big gap between McDonald's and burger joint and this does not get there.

Fries are from a bag and not hand-cut. And the portion of fries was small. However, probably right to the price.

Overall, not the same place of year's past, but if you want cheap, then this is your place. But, we would probably recommend you go for the other 90 items on the menu (yes, it is extensive) versus the burgers.
